Reflection 17

 Today’s bellringer was writing a paragraph answering the question of whether beauty is or is not timeless. I personally don’t believe it has an expiration date, mainly because of its subjectivity. But, much like yesterday’s bellringer, the more I think about it, the more I feel I could argue that point. Or could I?...Moving on. For the first half of the lesson we reviewed argumentative paragraphs written by several of my classmates. The main four paragraphs we went over were more of an example of what not to do, and were probably hand picked to demonstrate this. Near the end of class, we attempted to use the “Steps to Success” to take a position and write a thesis statement for a writing prompt we were given. After this attempt we were of course shown the proper way to do this.
